Yummy and filling! Low calories!
I was looking for a low calorie meal replacement bar that was filling...because most I've tried are dinky little bars that still have me feeling hungry. Well, a lady working at GNC recommended Myoplex Lite (she was actually eating one behind the cash counter!) and said that it tastes good and is low in calories and that she always eats that as a meal. Well, I tried it and I can't believe that it left me feeling satisfied! I wasn't hungry after one bar and it tasted really delicious ( I tried the chocolate peanut butter...only 190 calories). I did end up going back to the store and bought a week's worth to eat at work.

Cinnamon Roll Crisp
This bar is absolutely delicious. It's one of the best tasting bars I've had and it's one of the few bars out there that has such high protein while maintaining low carbohydrate content. This is a bar you can feel good about eating. It's so low in calories that you can actually afford to eat it with smoething else to complete your meal.

Myoplex is an industry leading name when it comes to bars and shakes - and this is one of their finest creations.

Great Snack - Meal Replacement
I had never tried these before, but I am quite impressed. They taste great and are very healthy and filling. I am a fairly small guy so I don't eat much as it is and I can eat just one for lunch and be fine all day. If you have a little more of an apetite, these are great healthy snacks. The Chocolate pars are the best, the peanut butter is ok, don't hold your breath or anything. I haven't tried anything else.
I would definitley recomend.

It does work very well. BUT I turned out to be allergic to it!!
Warning: You may be allergic to diphenhydramine hydrochloride in Benadryl. Some are allergic to this orally and others only as a topical. Some who take Benadryl say it was the red dye in the oral form, but I don't know about that. But topical and oral reactions to Benadryl's active ingredient are documented, see here for published journals since 1983- [...]. Again, Benadryl anti-itch works great, unless you are allergic to it.

If you have mosquitoes and spend any amount of time outdoors, you will love this stuff. It helps all kinds of itchies. Bug bites, allergic reactions, rashes, etc. This is good stuff!

Vanilla tastes good
Can't speak for other flavors, but the vanilla is very good. I use 4-5 packets per day. My weight is about the same, but strength noticably increased and shape improved. For the vanilla, I put mix it up and put in the fridge overnight----very good when cold.

Great for sensitive skin
I love these clothes. They're super easy to use and they're great for traveling (no liquids!). They leave my skin clean and really really soft. I have sensitive skin, but I actually prefer these "Deep Moisture" ones to the "sensitive skin" version.

Great product when traveling and at home
I really like these clothes. They don't irritate sensative skin and they are really easy to use. Just wet with tap water, apply to your face, they foam up and you clean and rinse. Too Repeatable
I purchased this bath scale two weeks ago and while very attractive, I have my concerns about the scales repeatibility...it is too repeatable. I weighed my self 6 times over the course of 2 days with no one else using the scale in between. The scale indicated that I was the exact(down to the scale's .2# accuracy)same weight each time. Highly unlikely the way I eat.

I then tried the same experiment but first steping on with a 10# weight and letting the scale read, then off, then on again without the weights. Weighing 6 times over the next 2 days showed 6 different weights. As I would have expected.

I'm not sure what is going on but it seems the scale reverts back to the the previous weight if the difference is close. I will be calling their tech support group when I have some time. I've read one or two other reviews on HoMedic digial scales exhibiting the same problem.

First impressions are good...
... I purchased this item to remove some debris off my camcorder lens and found it to do the job very nicely.

The microfiber texture feels nice - a little beady, but soft and textured.

Using it was easy, I just wiped the lens in a circular fashion with light pressure and eventually the debris was gone. (some fingerprints and what appeared to be a scratch but wasn't)

The packaging is a little subpar though. It comes in a plastic bag which you tear open at the bottom to slide the cloth out. However doing so leaves adhesive residue, which the cloth then sticks to and you have to tear it off, making those sections of the cloth appear phyically different - a bit roughed up I'd say. This is poor design as the packaging says to store the cloth inside the bag when not in use to avoid contamination, so I used a scissor to cut the bottom of the bag with the adhesive residue off.

I've yet to machine wash it, but so far it works well. It's just a cheap lens cleaning cloth after all.

Use on cell phone, PDA, computer screens, too
I probably never would have considered purchasing this cleaning cloth without having it recommended to me in an article about Treo 650 (smartphone) accessories.

Using anything other than a cleaning cloth designed for these sensitive surfaces can lead to scratches and permanent damage.

I carry it in my laptop case and use it almost daily, both to remove the oily residue left by my fingers that quickly builds up on my Treo's touchscreen, but also to keep my laptop computer screen sparkling.

It's fast, it's easy and it's a safe and inexpensive way to protect your investments.

the end all solution...
I had never heard of these things before nor had I heard anybody talk about them...I just randomly bought them from amazon and I have to tell you...if you wear glasses...these are ABSOLUTELY INDISPENSIBLE. It's honestly, besides maybe my mp3 player, my toothbrush, and my wallet, the only item I use daily and it is a very effective product for its size and price. I use them almost exclusively on my glasses but they say you can use them on all kinds of stuff like computer monitors and so on...I have yet to try it on them, but when you wipe these things over your lenses, there is a definite feeling of them getting clean...If you're looking for a pocket sized solution to keep things clean, this is it.

Superb Shaver
The key thing in an electric shaver is getting the whiskers to the cutting blades. If the foil is too thick, or the holes in the foil don't get the stubby hairs inside, the shave won't be close. My whiskers grow flat along my skin in some parts of my face, especially in my throat area. The heads of most electric shavers just glided over them without picking them up. I could only get a close shape with a blade. My previous Panasonic wet/dry shaver had little rubber fins (like on some of the better Gillette razors) at the leading edges of the foil to lift up the flat hairs so they could go into the foil. That was the best electric shave I had ever gotten up to now. But Panasonic no longer sells any model with those fins, and the replacement foils with the fins for my shaver have been discontinued.

I looked around for current shavers that might have a new approach. Shaving with a blade every day is just too hard on my skin. I came across these Brauns 8595 and 8585. The explanation of the new foil design approach seemed to make enough sense to give it a try. The two models are the same, except that the 8595 has an LCD display for $40 more. The information on Braun's website sort of reveals, if you look at what the functions of the display are, that its main purpose is to nag you--time to clean, time to replace the foil, etc. So I saved the extra money and got the 8585.

I have been very impressed with it. The differently shaped foil slots/holes really do seem to pull in the hairs. No electric shaver is ever going to be as completely close as a blade, but this is pretty near to it. It's at least as good as my old wet/dry Panasonic with the hair-lifting fins.

Here's a semi-undocumented tip. The instructions say that you charge the shaver by putting it in the cleaning/charging station. They also say that you can use the power cord for corded shaving if the battery is discharged, and that the battery charges whenever the shaver is connected to a power outlet. What they DON'T say outright is what these facts suggest and I discovered: you can charge the shaver by connecting it to the outlet directly with the power cord. You don't have to use the cleaning/charging stand. This makes it easier to travel with the shaver, since you don't have to take that liquid-filled cleaning stand with you.

Great Shaver
I have had it for a couple of weeks now. I have used Norelco and Remington shavers in the past as well as the Gillette Mach 3 Turbo. I can honestly say the shave is as close as a blade. However, there is no mess. Also the self cleaning feature works wonderful as well. No more disgusting stubble clean ups. You can get the refill for $9.95 for 2 month supply. You can't beat it. I love it.

Expensive for a reason
Firstly I'd like to make a comment about razors in general. They are two main types on the market today, 1. multiple blades (Gillette is well known for that, I think they are up to 5 blades now); and 2. Electric razors, which can be rotary (e.g. Norelco) or foil (e.g. Braun). Make no mistake about it, a blade razor will ALWAYS shave closer than any electric razor, for the simple reason that the blade(s) can get right on your skin to cut the hair, while electric razor's blades are always hidden and can never cut as close. So if you are looking for a magic electric razor that shaves as close as the blades, STOP, because they don't exist, at least not yet.

I got a Norelco a few months back, and this was a welcome change for me as shaving got quicker and less messy, but for some reason, my face never got used to it. No to mention how it doesn't shave nearly as close, I was getting worse razor burns from the Norelco than my usual blades. And this was while I used the Nivea lotion that came with the Norelco. The advertised pull and cut action with the Norelco is a buch of baloney, as I could feel the little stubs on my face no matter how long I shave. I gradually got irritated by the Norelco but was somewhat reluctant to go back to blades full time as I had gotten too lazy to use them everyday.

The next natural step was to try the foil shavers. Like a previous reviewer, I opted to pass on the LCD display screen of 8595 and went for the cheaper but otherwise identical 8585 model instead. It was expensive but well worth the money. These Germans sure know how to make the gadgets. I always use the back of my hand to feel my chin after shaving and check how close the shave was, and this was almost as good as my Mach-3 blades and in about half the time, with no messy shaving creams and annoying cuts and burns. The foil is incredibly slick and glides across your face like Teflon and it usually takes me about 3 to 4 passes on the same area to get a satisfactory shave. It holds comfortable in your hands, and by virtual of its design, shaves much better than the rotary razors at curvy places around the chin. It also self-cleans and from the smell of the cleaning solution, I presume it self-disinfects. The cleaning station is probably too bulky to take on the road but unless you travel for more than 2 weeks, the razor really doesn't get "dirty" enough to require any cleaning. The cleaning can get really loud (much louder than the shaving), but it's a minor annoyance to me.

I still enjoy a hot shave with my razor every once a while, but this Braun is definitely my default choice now. If you can spare the money to buy one, you won't regret it.

Wahl’s Trim-n-Vac beard and mustache trimmer has a vacuum intake port at the trimmer head to capture and draw cut facial hair into a collection chamber at the shaver’s base. The vacuum is, at minimum, 85 percent effective (depending on the length of the hair being cut), and the collection chamber is easy to open and clean. This innovative design, along with the Trim-n-Vac’s ability to operate without a cord, make the trimmer great for travelers with hectic schedules who may need a quick shave while in the car or at the airport.

The trimmer has a rotating head that pivots 90 degrees to expose either a wide cutting blade for beards, or a detail blade for trimming edges and the lip line. An 11-position beard regulator easily attaches to the trimmer’s head to provide consistent and safe tapering and trimming of your beard and mustache. The 11 positions range from a height that tackles longer hairs (for example, if you are shaving off your beard) all the way down to a short height for trimming daily stubble. For convenience, the beard regulator remembers the last set length height until you change it. For additional comfort during shaving, the Groomsman has a contoured ergonomic handle and a well-positioned thumb-operated power switch.

The Trim-n-Vac operates either plugged in via its electric charger or runs on its long-lasting nickel-cadmium battery, which is estimated to last three to five years before needing replacement. Delivers on its promise, but hard to see what you're doing
My wife bought this product for me, probably as much of a gift for herself as for me, as I'm sure she grew tired of seeing little hairs in and around the sink everytime I trimmed my goatee (no matter how hard one tries to clean them up a few stray hairs always seem to stick around). The concept sounds good: the Trim-n-Vac vacuums up your beard/moustache hairs as you trim them, instead of having them fall onto the sink or counter causing a big mess.

For the most part, the Trim-n-Vac delivers on its promise. While it does not successfully vacuum 100% of the hair being trimmed, it gets most of it, making post-trim clean up a much quicker and easier process.

The only real major complaint I have about this product is its sheer bulk. This is one of those products where I almost wish I had waited a few product generations to get one, assuming that eventually the size of this product will more closely resemble that of a standard moustache/beard trimmer. The product in its current form is simply so large that it is difficult to see what you're doing. This is especially a problem when I'm shaping/edging my goatee. Since so much of my face is obstructed by the Trim-n-Vac it is very difficult to insure that I'm trimming everything straight and evenly. During this portion of the beard trimming process I really begin to long for my much-smaller, non-vacuuming beard trimmer, which made it much easier for me to see what I was doing. Then I realize I have barely any clean-up to do and I don't miss it nearly as much.

The Trimmer Works Fine
Some of the reviews for this product made me hesitant in purchasing this trimmer, but I bought it anyway and I'm completely satisfied. I find that about 80% to 90% of the hair I trim is caught by the vacuum, even though I'm not that careful about using the trimmer as directed, which is good enough for me. Overall I find the product works great and is thoughtfully designed. All of the complaints I've read (except for one that makes no sense to me) seem resolvable through reading the manual or applying common sense. Here are my responses to some of the negative reviews for this trimmer:

Vacuum doesn't catch much hair: I suggest you trim by 1/8" at a time as directed in the manual so that the cut hair isn't too long to get easily vacuumed. Also, you have to hold the trimmer right-side-up otherwise the hair won't fall near enough to the vacuum opening
Patchy shave: In the manual it addresses that issue directly
Guard comes off: Don't push the guard release while shaving

makes my hair smooth
My hair is prone to being frizzy and while there are a number of conditioners that help to tame it on those days, I really like the fact that this stuff doesn't have the parabens that most others use as preservatives.

As an added bonus, the tea tree oil helps to keep dandruff under control. It won't work on any serious dandruff but if you sometimes have mild problems, this and the shampoo both help.

I had originally purchased this stuff as a three pack from Costco which gave me three bottles (only one of which is conditioner) for quite a bit less than I see it for anywhere else. I buy additional conditioner on amazon to balance things out.

Best Shampoo
The Giovanni products are amazing! They work extremely well without all of the harmful chemicals that most other products have. I have been using these products for a little more than two years and I still love them and would recommend them to anyone.

I love this stuff!!
The smell is wonderful (and its natural peppermint oil, not the normal "fragrance" on the ingredient label). It makes my scalp feel refreshed and I hate having to rinse it out. My hair is naturally thick and wavy and this stuff made it feel so soft and healthy. Its now the only conditioner I'll use. I haven't tried the shampoo yet, but I look forward to it.

Really works well and smooth hair
The brush is a bit larger than I thought it would be but as it turns out, it works great. I have medium length hair and normally I would have looked for a smaller brush, but the way this one is made, the brissles really grab onto your hair and it also holds the curl really well. I like it very much and use it every day. I think any length hair, except very short hair, would benefit from this great Ionic brush

Coenzyme, Miracle cure?
I was diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy, which is a heart disease characterized by weak pumping action due to weak enlarged heart muscle. The function of my heart five years after being diagnosed had declined leading to a possibility of heart failure. I was told by a friend about this Coenzyme Q10 and researched it thoroughly. Even though the doctors didn't support the use of it for my heart problems, I tried it anyway at a dosage of 100 mg a day. Within 3 months my heart improved by a great amount. So I now take 150 mg a day and am hoping for a full recovery. I will not know how much it has improved until my next visit. It is a great supplement with no side effects (at least I never read of any or had any myself). It helps lower blood sugar, helps you lose weight, and helps replenish cells in your body. I can't say enough good things about this supplement.

Do you take statins (ie: Lipitor, Mevacor.. et al)?
If so, then you will want to take this as well.

I have been on statins of various types for over 10 years. As time has passed, I began to suffer from fatigue, stiffness and muscle pains.

A recent blood test showwed that my CPK levels were slightly elevated, but not so much so that I should be alarmed. I began to research C-Q10 in regards to statins on the web and discovered a lot of information describing how statins reduce natural levels of C-Q10 in the body which leads to all of the above problems. If it is not addressed it will eventually damage the heart.

Suprisingly, I found that Mercke had actaully been awarded 2 pattents on statins with C-Q10 included in the medication specificall becuase of the known problems with statins. Why they have never manufactured this combinations is a puzzle, but I have concluded on my own that it is to keep that "bad news" about statuns under wraps; who knows???

Here's what happens. All cells have mitocondria to provide the cells and muscles with energy. Statins zap the process that happens in the mitocondria by inhibiting the production of C-Q10 on the body. Without C-Q10, the mitocondria can not do their job efficiently and then the muscles begin to suffer because of this. Your heart is nothing more than 1 big muscle and it will suffer along with eveything else.

Within 24 hours of taking C-Q10 my symptoms had virtually diappeared. After 2 weeks I fell 10 years younger as all of my strength and agility has returned.

Great stuff! Do your homework on statins and then decide for yourself if this is right for you. Personally, I will not go 1 more day without taking this. i am at 150 mg per day and that seems to be just right.

Great Razor!
I absolutely love this electric razor. I had a Norelco, which completely went dead a few months ago. So I decided to purchase this razor. I used to spend around 15 minutes each time shaving with my Norelco, because it would not give a nice smooth shave. With the Remington R-960, I get a close smooth shave in about 2 and a half minutes - NO KIDDING!!! This is probably the best razor you could ever own. I love the one hour quick charge feature and the red light that lets you know when the razor needs charging. This item may be a little expensive for some people, but trust me, you WILL be greatly surprised with the results.

Smooooooth Operator
This is the first time I have ever posted a comment about a product, but I am so enthusiastic about this shaver that I feel I must share my experience. With the first use of this product, I felt as if I had come out of the dark ages of shaving. My most hated daily routine has become a joy! I migrated from blades to foil shaving 5 years ago, and thought that was a remarkable achievement, in addition to conserving blood and possibly saving my life. Although the last Consumer Reports test showed that there was virtually no difference between foil and rotary shaving, I got the bug when a local store put all their rotary shavers on sale. They assured me that I could return any shaver for any reason, so I had nothing to lose. After reviewing online comments, and wanting a cord/cordless, I narrowed my search down to the Norelco 7885XL and the Remington R-960, which was quite a bit less expensive than the Norelco. I brought them home, waited for 2 days growth of beard, and performed a "face-off." (Pardon the pun) I shaved one side of my face with the Noreleo and the other with the Remington. I felt my face and noticed no big difference. But later, I noticed that the Norelco side felt slightly irritated. I was warned that there might be a transition period from foil to rotary, so this didn't concern me. But, I never did get an irritated on the Remington side. The next day I felt my face and could clearly tell that the growth on the Remington side was less than the Norelco side. My conclusion was that I got a closer shave with no irritation with the Remington--and for far less money! My lifelong belief that price does not necessarily equal excellence in a product was again reinforced. After the first few days I went back and got another R-960 for travel, and I have been happily shaving for the first time in my life because of this great shaver. The R-960 appears to me to be better built, certainly more stylish, and comes with a sturdy, high quality case. It has a good grip and requires absolutely no pressure on my face in order to get a close shave. And no more stray hairs that my girlfriend usually discovers after it's too late to remove them. I never in my life believed that I would look forward to shaving--but now I'm in shave heaven!

Smooth sailing!
I have owned Remington electric razors for over 30 years and I have always been satisfied with their quality. This is the first rotary shaver I have owned - I always got the square shaped triple foil type before this. The battery on the last one finally died and the foil cover wore out after about 12 years. The first time I used this new razor I thought something was wrong with it. It is so quiet that I thought the motor was malfunctioning. The cutting action was so smooth that I assumed that it was not working at all. Surprise - it was giving me a great shave and I never even realized it. Quiet, gentle - a great shaver... I'm guessing this one will keep me going well into 2015!!!

I have oily acne-prone skin. I've used quite a few face washes on the market and always come back to this one. No other wash I've used really cleans the oil off my face like this does. It makes my skin smooth to the touch without feeling greasy for hours. I'll keep buying this product.
